Charging the battery
When the battery level is below 10%, you will hear a sound to remind you to charge it. Plug the mini USB end of the
provided USB cable into the MicroUSB charging port (6) of your Outdoor Box and the other USB end to any device with
an USB charging port and 5 V output (PC, USB wall charger, car charger, etc) to charge the battery. The Function and
charge indicator (4) turns red and switches off once the charging process has been completed. The charging time is
approximately 3 hours.
Important:
Use a 5 V 2 A AC/DC power adapter.
Do not leave your Outdoor Box completely discharged for a long time.
Playback modes
Double-click the Multifunction (2) button to see the different playback modes and select the one that you prefer. A voice
will confirm the selected playback mode:
Bluetooth -- FM Radio -- microSD -- Line-in
Bluetooth
Once you have selected the playback mode, access the list of available devices on your smartphone or tablet and select
your "Outdoor Box". The devices will be connected without codes. Once the connection has been established, you will
hear a confirmation sound.
At this point, you will be able to start playback on your smartphone or tablet. The Bluetooth wireless connection's range
is up to 10 meters.
Press Next (1) or Back (3) to control playback from the speaker.
Your Outdoor Box saves the last connected device and automatically pairs with it the next time you turn the speaker on.
Click the Multifunction (2) button three times to start a new Bluetooth search and pair your speaker with a different
smartphone or tablet.
Call control (hands-free function)
Once the speaker and your smartphone are paired, you will be able to answer incoming calls from the speaker itself.
When receiving a call, the song you are listening to stops and the ringing tone sounds instead. To answer an incoming
call you will only have to press the Multifunction (2) button. Press it once again to hang up.
Keep a distance of 30-50 cm from the speaker for a proper voice reception. The microphone is placed behind the front
grille.
TWS (True Wireless Stereo)
This option makes it possible to wirelessly pair a second Outdoor Box Dive/ Shower and hear music with twice as much
power. This way, you will create a stereo sound system made up of two different channels: left and right.
To do so, switch on both units, select Bluetooth mode and click three times the Multifunction (2) button on one of the
units. You will hear a sound confirming that both devices have been successfully synchronized.
From that moment on, you can start Bluetooth playback any time to hear music through both speakers at the same
time. The first connected speaker will be fed with the left channel (L) and the other one with the right channel (R).
If you want to disable this function, click the Multifunction (2) button three times. Both devices will be disconnected.
