6.0 Troubleshooting
Common issues can be fixed by following the instructions in this guide. If the unit
will not function after following these instructions, contact technical support before
attempting to use or repair the product.

will not start

The power switch is in the “Off” position. Switch to
“On.”

The engine is out of gasoline, add more.
3.
Engine choke is in wrong position. Adjust choke
lever according to instructions on page 20.
4.
Faulty spark plug, replace with equal or greater
quality plug. Refer to page 31 in your user’s manual
for a complete list of spark plug compatibility codes.
5.
Insufficient oil, add more oil.
6.
Clogged fuel line, inspect gas tank for debris.
High
resistance
when pulling
recoil starter.

The engine does not have enough oil - add oil.
2.
Air filter element obstructed by debris. Clean
according to user manual instructions on page 25.
