Troubleshooting
If your device does not power up, or the power indicator does
not light:
Possible Cause
Solution
Defective device
plugged into the AC
power.
Try another device to see if the
first one is defective.
Vehicle battery voltage
is 10.8V or lower.
Run the vehicle’s engine to
recharge the battery.
AC power’s
temperature exceeds
158°F (70°C).
Unplug the appliance and wait
until the AC power cools.
Position the AC power so that
air flows freely around it to allow
the heat to disperse. Operation
resumes when the temperature
decreases to about 104°F
(40°C).
Continuous power load
exceeds 90 watts.
Disconnect the device. Use
only devices with a continuous
power load of 90 watts or less.
Dirty power port or
adapter
Make sure the power port and
adapter are clean. Dirt can
prevent the AC power from
working.
