With greater cable core diameters adequate larger distances can be bridged.
• The socket „IN” is connected with the incoming signal of a camera or any other
video signal source.
• The socket „OUT” is connected with the outgoing signal to monitors, video
recorders, printers or similiar. The last connected unit has to be terminated by
75ohms.
• Put plug in a mains socket (230VAC). If change to 115VAC is required from your
side, please contact VIDEOR E. Hartig GmbH.
The stepless variable adjustment - potentiometer at front side - is marked from 1 to 5,
whereby pos. 1 means 0dB and pos. 5 means max. 12dB equalization (at 5MHz).
Line up correction (1)
Connect a test picture generator (adjustment multiburst) or the signal source (aligned
to standard output signal) with beginning of your coax cable (75ohms) and put cable
end to the socket „IN” of VKE-1N-1.
Connect socket „OUT” of the VKE-1N-1 to an oszilloscope (termination 75ohms
necessary).
Turn at potentiometer (with suitable screwdriver) until a linear frequency resp. nominal
height of video signal is reached.
Line up correction (2)
Connect the arriving signal to socket „IN” and a control monitor to „OUT” for adjust-
ment. Now turn at potentiometer until you will receive optimal quality of picture.
