Warning!
• The electrical connection must only be carried out by a certified electrician.
• Technical personnel must have read and understood the instructions in this manual and must
adhere to them.
• Ensure that there is no voltage at the power cable before beginning the connection work.
4.1
Connection to the transmitter
Connect the sensor directly to the transmitter by using the special measuring cable with SXP plug.

In general:
Optical windows free of film?
Permissible orientation observed?
Medium present?
If no: cleaning (--> "Maintenance")
--> "Installation conditions"
Is the assembly or piping completely filled with medium?
Immersion assembly:
Sensor installed in immersion assembly?
Protection cap on immersion assembly?
Do not use the sensor suspended freely from the cable.
Prevent moisture penetrating the assembly!
Retractable assembly:
Sensor installed in flow or retractable assembly?
Ensure the sensor is aligned correctly to the flow direction!
