Flow limit
The diameter of the pipe and the flow rate determine the nominal diameter of the sensor. The
optimum velocity of flow is between 2 to 3 m/s (6.56 to 9.84 ft/s). Also match the velocity of flow
(v) to the physical properties of the fluid:

2 m/s (6.56 ft/s): for abrasive fluids (e.g. potter's clay, lime milk, ore slurry)

2 m/s (6.56 ft/s): for fluids producing buildup (e.g. wastewater sludges)
