3.9 Connecting to remote version of t-mass 65 with field

Note!
You can only test remote versions of measuring devices if the distance between the electronic
connections and sensor connections does not exceed 5 m (196 inch). A long Simubox cable can be
acquired for this purpose (material no.: 71110466


Caution!
Connect the ground terminals on the cables to the uninsulated housing components or to the
ground terminals in the connection compartment.
1. Remove the connection compartment cover (3) from the connection housing.
2. Pull the sensor signal cable connector out of the amplifier socket (7).
3. Plug the Simubox cable connector into the amplifier socket (7).
4. Remove the cover of the connection compartment (2) from the transmitter housing.
5. Connect Fieldcheck to the current and frequency outputs of the transmitter

(terminal pairs 22/23, 24/25 or 26/27).

Note!
The configuration of the outputs depends on the product type and the order version of the
tested transmitter. To find out which terminal pairs are assigned to the outputs, see the
"Wiring" Section of the flowmeter Operating Instructions.
6. Connect Fieldcheck to the service connector (5).
