10.7 Protecting settings from unauthorized access
The following options exist for protecting the configuration of the measuring device from
unintentional modification after commissioning:
Write protection via write protection switch → 52
10.7.1 Write protection via write protection switch
The write protection switch makes it possible to block write access to the entire operating
menu with the exception of the following parameters:
• External pressure
• External temperature
• Reference density
• All parameters for configuring the totalizer
The parameter values are now read only and cannot be edited any more:
• Via service interface (CDI)
• Via Modbus RS485
