9.1
Initiating measurement
The interval for measurement and transmission is configured in Netilion Value.
The device has a mode with extremely low power consumption.
The device can be activated by the following events:
• if the real-time clock reaches the next measuring interval (time-based)
• if the activation switch is pressed (user-activated)
9.2
Reading measured values
Netilion Value can be used to read the measured values. In addition to reading the last
measured value, the web app provides the option of displaying the measured value history.
9.3
Showing data logging
The measured value history can be read and exported in Netilion Value.
9.4
Use cases
9.4.1
Status transmission
If the FWR30 has not yet been commissioned and the user presses the activation switch,
then a status transmission is activated.
• The FWR30 updates status values
• The FWR30 synchronizes the time if necessary
• The FWR30 transmits all status values to the cloud
The following status values are transmitted to the cloud:
• Activation status
• Battery status
• Position in GPS coordinates
• Signal quality of connectivity
• Current and previous event ID
9.4.2
Performing a manual measurement
1. Press the activation switch.
2. The measurement is performed.
3. The measured value is stored in the device with a time stamp.
9.4.3
Automatic transmission of measured values
When the transmission interval is reached:
• The FWR30 updates the status values.
• The FWR30 synchronizes the time with the network operator or the cloud (export
format: 2019-06-19 08:29 hours)
• The FWR30 transmits all of the saved measured values and status values to the cloud,
such as
• distance
• signal quality of distance measurement
• Temperature
