6.1 Connection conditions
NOTICE
Connecting the device to the supply voltage without the antenna
causes damage to the device.
‣
Do not operate the device without having the antenna connected.
• Ensure the cable is de-energized when connecting to the FieldEdge SGC200
• Please follow the connection information in these Brief Operating Instructions
• Supply voltage 8 to 30 V

6.2.1 Ensuring the degree of protection
IP67
NOTICE
If the housing of the FieldEdge SGC200 is open,
degree of protection IP67 is lost.
‣
The housing of the FieldEdge SGC200 must not be opened.
6.3 Post-connection check
Are the system, devices and cables undamaged (visual check)? 
Do the cables comply with the requirements? 
