Installation and commissioning
4.1
Installation conditions
For requirements with regard to the ambient conditions at the installation location, re-
fer to “Technical data” p. 66. If required, make sure that the room is temperature-
controlled.
The installation location of the InnuPure C16
touch
must meet the following require-
ments:
Free from caustic vapors in close proximity of the device
Connections and assemblies of the device may corrode.
Free from draft, do not install the device close to windows or doors
Away from electromagnetic sources of interference
No direct sunlight and away from radiant heaters
The front door and air vents must not be obstructed by other equipment or furnish-
ings
Keep a safety distance of at least 5 cm from the rear of the device to other equip-
ment or walls
4.1.1
Energy supply
WARNING
The InnuPure C16
touch
must only be connected to a properly grounded mains outlet
in accordance with the voltage specifications on the rating plate!
The InnuPure C16
touch
is operated on single-phase alternating current grid. The in-
stallation of the electrical equipment of the laboratory must comply with the standard
DIN VDE 0100. At the connection point an electrical current in accordance with the
standard IEC 60038 edition 6.2 2002 (EN 60038:2011) must be available.
Only use the supplied power cord with protective conductor to connect the InnuPure
C16
touch
to the power supply. The protective effect must not be invalidated by the
use of an extension line without protective conductor.
