1. Determine the position of your light fitting. Ensure that there is sufficient power cable to connect to the fitting –
we recommend at least 20cm. If you are using the ground anchor plate (
Diagram A
) see
BEFORE YOU START
comments on ground preparation. If you are using anchor bolts (not supplied) prepare the mounting surface as
appropriate.
2. Diagram B. Secure the terminal block bracket to the lower section of the post.
3. Diagram C. Thread the cable from the head section (1) through the post section (2) and secure.
4. Thread cable into the base (3) and secure the top two sections onto the base.
5. Diagram D. Connect the mains supply cable to the internal terminal block – see wiring details.
IMPORTANT: This
is a Class I fitting and MUST be earthed
. Secure the lamp post to the mounting surface making sure that the
internal cables are not trapped or damaged.
6. Diagram E. Construct the top section of the lid as shown. Fit the bulb –
never
fit bulbs of a higher wattage or of a type other than those specified on the
label as this may cause over heating and damage the fitting.
Secure the lid
onto the head frame.
7. Turn on the power and test.

These assembly diagrams are intended as a guide – if in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
The Light pack contains:
Light fitting.
Terminal connection block(s).
Fixing pack.
Allen key.
The following tools may be required:
Selection of cross and flat head screwdrivers.
Electric drill and assorted drill bits.
Wire strippers.
Electrical insulation tape.
