STEP 1.
Position the plug next to the indoor
mains socket outlet that the kit is to be
connected to. Do not plug in at this stage.
NOTE: If the mains plug has to be removed (for
example) to route the supply cable through a
wall, then it must be wired up according to the
Class II wiring diagram shown.
This is a class II (double insulated) transformer
and does not require an earth. Neither the Live
or Neutral cable should be connected to the
earth pin. A 3amp fuse should be fitted.
STEP 2.
After deciding on the layout of
the individual light fittings, and the position
of the junction box, ensure that the cables
are long enough to connect to the desired
positions.
Drill the mounting holes (taking care not to
damage any cables or pipes beneath the
surface). A 22mm cut out hole is required
with a minimum 30mm clearance beneath
it.
Feed the plug and cable of each light
through the mounting holes and push the
light unit into the hole to secure it.
STEP 3.
Connect each LED light to the
junction box ensuring that each plug is fully
screwed into the junction box sockets.
Ensure that all the LED heads are
connected to the junction box.
STEP 4.
Connect the junction box plug
into the socket on the flying lead from the
transformer. Connect the mains plug to the
supply – turn on and test.
