1. Determine the position
of your light fitting. Make
sure there is sufficient
cable coming out of the
wall to connect to the
terminal block. Ensure
that the mounting
surface is solid,
preferably a brick or
block wall and ensure
that there are no other
cables or pipes beneath
the surface.

Remove the
back pate bracket by
undoing the 4 bracket
grub screws as shown.

. Use the
back plate bracket as a
template and mark the 2
fixings holes, making
sure the back plate is the
correct way up and the
top of it is horizontal.
Drill and plug the
mounting surface.
4. Bring the incoming
mains cable through the
grommet in the back
plate and then use
appropriate fixings to
secure the back plate to
the wall. The terminal
block can be removed
from the back plate for
ease of wiring to the
mains.

. Connect the
mains wiring to the
internal terminal block
(A) –
see wiring details
.
The cable entry grommet
and any seals must be
securely in place to
ensure that the water
ingress protection is
maintained.
NOTE:
This
is a Class I fitting and
must be earthed.
6.
Fit the front frame over
the back plate and
secure with the 2 grub
screws removed in 2
above. Take care not to
trap or strain the internal
cables.
7. Turn on the power and
test.
