1. Determine the position of your
light fitting. Make sure there is
sufficient cable coming out of
the wall to connect to the
terminal block. Ensure that the
mounting surface is solid,
preferably a brick or block wall
and ensure that there are no
other cables or pipes beneath
the surface.

If the back plate
bracket is attached – remove
it by undoing the single grub
screw. Use the back plate
bracket as a template and
mark the 2 fixings holes,
making sure the back plate is
the correct way up and the
sides of the back plate are
vertical. Use appropriate
fixings to secure the back
plate to the wall.

. Open the terminal
block housing (A) by taking
out the screws (B) at either
side of the housing. Connect
the mains wiring to the
internal terminal block (C) –
see wiring details
. The cable
entry grommet (D) and any
seals (E) must be securely in
place to ensure that the water
ingress protection is
maintained.
NOTE:
This is a
Class I fitting and
must be
earthed.
4. Diagram C.
Fit the terminal
block housing together and
secure with the screws –
removed in 3 above. Fit the
front frame over the back
plate and secure with the
single grub screw removed in
2 above. Take care not to trap
or strain the internal cables.
5.
Unscrew the top cover and fit
the recommended CFL lamp –
not supplied.
NOTE: Do not
fit lamps of a higher wattage
than those recommended as
this may cause overheating
and damage the fitting.
Re-f
it the cover over the lamp.
6. Turn on the power and test.
