7.6 POSITIONING

Your mobile phone has a GPS unit (Global Positioning System) to support 
the emergency function. This feature allows to locate the mobile phone 
worldwide, and to determine your exact location.
It is also for your own orientation. If you got lost or in case of any other 
emergency, you achieved help quickly in this way. Other users are also able to 
find you quickly. 

Please note: The GPS functionality is inside buildings can not be guaranteed.

Please note: If after a few minutes, you still have no position, check if you have 
a direct view to the sky (satellites), and/or go away from high walls of buildings.

Please note: Due to the inaccuracy of the GPS data, a result of your position 
deviation of up to 30 m.

Please note: The enabled position determination requires a lot of electricity, 
thereby reducing the operating time of mobile phone in continuous operation 
from 350 to 24 hours.

Enable positioning

Go to 

Tools / Position / Position on/off

 to enable or disable the GPS function.
