The fireplace may be operated
without the remote by connecting the brown control module wires
to a wall switch. The remote/off switch on the control module
must be in the "OFF" position.

For remote use, slide switch on battery box to "ON"
position.
Label all wires prior to disconnection when servicing controls.
Wiring errors can cause improper and dangerous operation.
Verify proper operation after servicing.
Millivolt thermopile is self-powered. The gas valve does not
require 120 volts. Maximum length of 20 ft of 16 AWG to
conductor wires is to be used with all optional switches.
Use the two leads (Red and Green) to attach optional controls.
