Operating Instructions for NiMH Battery Cells
1. Connect the charger to the power network. (LED indicators will flash green and red 3×)
2. The batteries inserted (1 to 4 cells) do not have to be of the same capacity and size.
3. Place the batteries into the slots while observing correct polarity (+ , -). Incorrectly placed batteries
will not be charged.
4. The charging process begins once the batteries are in place. The charging process is optically indicated
by a glowing LED.
5. After full charging of the batteries, the charger automatically switches to maintenance mode.
The maintenance process is optically indicated by a green glowing LED. The batteries are ready for use.
WARNING
• Batteries may not be a part of the delivery.
• Never charge batteries other than NiCd and NiMH of sizes AA, AAA.
• Never recharge alkaline, zinc-carbon, lithium, etc. batteries!
• Never recharged corroded batteries!
• Only use the charger for charging NiCd and NiMH cells. Do not use to power other devices!
• The charger is designed for use in dry indoor areas with proper electrical security.
• Never interfere with the charger! In case of malfunction within the warranty period, contact the retailer.
