Setting an alarm
1. Press the B1 button. This will display the alarm time and the notice ALARM TIME at the top
left.
2. Press and hold the B1 button and use the B4/B5 buttons to set the desired alarm time.
3. Use the B1 button to move between the values.
4. When setting the alarm, adhere to the 12h time format, described at the bottom left by acronym PM
(post meridiem): PM – afternoon, PM not displayed – morning.
Use the B4 button to activate the alarm, the
icon will be displayed.
Press the B4 button repeatedly to deactivate the alarm, the icon will not be displayed.
Use the B5 slide switch to set the alarm mode:
MON – FRI: Monday to Friday
MON – SAT: Monday to Saturday
MON – SUN: Monday to Sunday
Snooze and display backlight (SNOOZE/LIGHT)
• Use the SNOOZE/LIGHT button while the alarm is ringing to move ringing 4 minutes
forward, the alarm icon will be flashing.
In this way, it is possible to delay ringing up to 8 times.
• Press any key, except SNOOZE/LIGHT, to turn off the SNOOZE function. The alarm will sound
the next day.
If you do not press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button while ringing, the alarm will be active for
2 minutes.
Problem solving
If the clock does not show the correct time or if there is no DCF reception icon, reset the clock
by pressing the RESET button.
Incorrect time or loss of synchronization can occur due to external electromagnetic interference.
Care and maintenance
The product is designed to provide trouble-free service for many years if operated appropriately.
Here is some advice for proper operation:
• Read carefully the manual before using this product.
• Do not expose the product to direct sunlight, extreme cold and moisture, and sudden changes
in temperature (this may compromise detection accuracy.
• Do not place the product in locations prone to vibration and shocks – they may cause damage.
• Do not expose the product to excessive force, impacts, dust, high temperatures, rain or humid-
ity – these may cause malfunction, shorter battery life, damage to batteries and deformation
of plastic parts.
• Do not place any open flame sources on the product, e.g. a lit candle, etc.
• Do not place the product to places with inadequate air flow.
• Do not insert any objects in the product vents.
• To clean the product, use a slightly moistened soft cloth. Do not use solvents or cleaning
agents– they could scratch the plastic parts and cause corrosion of the electric circuits.
• The product may not be exposed to dripping or splashing water. Do not immerse it in water
or other liquids.
• In the event of damage or defect of the product, do not perform any repairs by yourself. Have
