Using the Scanner
PrimeTest Elite
1. Switch ON the scanner by pressing
Clear/function
key (
small
button) until
scanner flashes blue.
2. From the Home
screen, press PAT key
icon
.
3. Select Auto Mode
. PrimeTest will try to
connect to scanner now.
4. When connection is made, scanner will
beep and Bluetooth icon will appear.
5. Press trigger (
large
button) to scan a
barcode.

1. Switch
scanner
ON,
by

Clear/function

button) until
scanner flashes blue.
2. Start
Menu
Auto Mode
. PrimeTest try to
connect to the scanner.
3. When connection is made, scanner will
beep, Bluetooth icon will appear on screen.
4. Press the trigger (
large
button) to scan a
barcode. The scanner will beep when it
detects a good barcode.
(
Hint
: if you press the Trigger key (large button) in an attempt to re-establish the connection this can
put the scanner into an incorrect mode. To reset this, press and hold Clear/Function key (small button)
until the scanner stops flashing and then again to re-establish the connection. (Note, if the above does
not work may need to switch your instrument off then back on again).
