8.4 Heating functioning
Press the
MODE
key to select the function
HEAT
With the buttons
TEMP
Set the desired temperature in the room
(17÷30 °C).
The temperature can be set to grade degree.

Select the desired fan speed:

The speed also varies in relation to the set temperature
Note
Air conditioner modulate the compressor frequency automatically to
maintain the set temperature.
Anti-cool air protection
Internal fan functioning depends on the internal unit exchanger tem-
perature:
- Internal unit fan starts working just few minutes after the external
unit start-up, when exchanger is warm.
- Internal unit fan keeps on functioning for few minutes after the
external unit stops, until the exchanger becomes cold.
Automatic defrosting controlled by the microprocessor
- When air conditioner is used in Heating mode and the temperature
outside is low and humidity is high, dew accumulates on the external
unit which reduces air conditioner performances.
- To prevent this performances reduction, air conditioner is equipped
with an automatic defrosting system set by the microprocessor. When
dew is accumulated air conditioner temporary stops and defrost quickly
(duration between 8 and 10 minutes).

Attention:
During defrosting, internal and external unit fans stop and some vapour
of the external unit can get out. This is due to the defrosting and not to a
bad functioning
8.5 Dehumidification functioning “Dry”
Press the
MODE
key to select the operating mode
DRY
The temperature can be set but has no effect while the indoor unit
temperature is displayed on the unit display.

The fan speed is not selectable, but it will only work at low speed.
Note
Air conditioner modulate the compressor frequency automatically to
maintain the set temperature. If air conditioner works for long periods
with high humidity, it may cause condensation drops on the surface.
