8.3 Locking of a fixed temperature

If you desire to set a temperature on the knob please insert

the locks in the spaces to the right and to the left of the black

point



after setting the required temperature (see 8.1 and 8.2)

Once the operation is completed the head knob does not ro-

tate anymore.

9 Anti-freeze position

In zero position “0” (closed) there is danger of freezing. With the

thermal expansion valve you have the possibility of protecting

the housing from freezing and damage, even in your absence.

Naturally, the heating system is supposed to be in function.

• Set the knob so that the freezing symbol ( ) corresponds

to the reference pointer.

In this case, the desired temperature set up on the thermal ex-

pansion valve corresponds to a temperature of 7 °C.

10 Aeration of the rooms

When you air the rooms, turn the knob to be anti-freeze position

( ). In this way you avoid dispersing the heat.

You will also avoid overheating the rooms after having re-

closed the window.
