1.0 Introduction
The SDU AC - A Series is a compact, “Off-Line” DIN rail mountable UPS, which provides conditioned power to sensitive electronic
equipment in an industrial environment. It supplies connected equipment with stepped approximation to sinewave input during
power outage to simulate the power generated by the utility.
Input voltage range is 80% to 110% (ideal protection for the critical connected loads). Battery charging occurs automatically when
ac power is applied, no need to switch ON the UPS. When power fails, the UPS can be automatically turned OFF, as long as the
connected loads are not operating to save the battery energy. The SDU also includes an automatic self-test feature to test the UPS
function and battery. If the battery is no longer useful, the unit will sound an alarm and an LED indicator will illuminate
