MECHANICAL INSTALLATION

2.4 INSTALLATION INSPECTION

Prior to operating the sensor and attempting to stan-
dardize the instrument, inspect the sensor installation
as follows:

1. Verify that the sensor is securely attached to the

wall, pipe, or other mounting surface.

2. Check all plumbing connections for leaks. If any are

evident, repair them.

3. Check all electrical connections for security. Make

sure all wires are properly dressed so they do not
short or ground. Make sure the instrument is wired
as illustrated in Figure 2-3 through 2-10.

4. If all of the above have been satisfied, proceed to

the next section.
