OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Press the POWER button

turn the unit on, the display will
light. Set the VOLUME control 

to a low setting.

Press and release the Tuning
Up/Clock Adj.(+) FWD. (

) or (–)

REV. (

) button to select a

station.
Press and hold the Tuning Up/Clock
Adj.(+) FWD. (

) or (–) REV.

(

) button for approximately 1

second and then release; the tuner
will automatically scan up to the next
strong station available in your area.

Press the BAND button to the
desired band - FM or AM.

NOTE:

If you select the FM band,

be sure to raise the FM rod
antenna and extend it to its full
length.

Press the FUNCTION button to
select RADIO; TUNER will appear
in the display.

If the BAND button

and you have tuned to an FM
Stereo station, “STEREO” will
appear in the display.
When you have finished listening,
press the POWER button

HINTS FOR BETTER RECEPTION

FM - Make sure that the telescopic FM Rod Antenna is raised and extended to its full length. You may have
to vary the direction of the antenna to find the strongest signal for each FM station. 

AM - The AM ferrite bar antenna is located inside the cabinet. It may be necessary to turn the unit slightly so
that the internal antenna is pointing in the direction of the AM transmitter. You may have to experiment to
find the position that provides the strongest reception for each of your favorite AM stations. 

BBS (BASS BOOST):

Press this button to the ON (in) position to enhance the overall Bass sound. Press to the OFF (out) position
for normal listening.
