POWER SOURCES

POWER SUPPLY

This TV is designed to operate from ten “C” size batteries, a 120VAC 60Hz AC Adapter or a Car Adapter.

BATTERIES

When either the AC adapter or the Car Adapter is inserted, the batteries will be automatically disconnected.

AC POWER

To operate the unit using AC power, connect the AC adapter to the
jack labelled “DC 12V” on the unit and to a wall outlet having 120V,
60Hz only.

NOTE:

If the AC adapter’s plug does not fit into a nonpolarized out-

let, do not file or cut the wide blade. Have the obsolete outlet
changed by a qualified licensed electrician.

CAUTION:

Use only the AC adapter provided with this unit. Using

another AC adapter may damage the unit. When not using AC
power, disconnect the AC adapter from the wall outlet by pulling the
plug (not the cord). Do not touch the AC adapter with wet hands.

DC (CAR BATTERY) POWER

Confirm that your car uses a 12V negative ground battery system

by reading the car’ owner’s

manual or contacting the manufacturer.  Remove the cigarette lighter from its socket in the dash and connect
one end of the Car Adapter into the DC 12V Jack on the back of the TV and the other end to the car cigarette
lighter socket.

NOTE:

Remove the Car Adapter from the car cigarette lighter socket when not in use.
