2. GENERAL INFORMATION
The GD product range is a state-of-the-art fixed gas detector which can detect a wide range of
different gases.
This kind of gas sensors are available in two different configurations in relation to the type of
sensing element:
GDS Range, with SEMICONDUCTOR sensor
GDI Range, with INFRARED sensor
Below the different type of boards:
GDS (Semiconductor)
GDI (Infrared)
The GD gas sensors are available in two different boxes, according to the desired degree of
protection (IP) and in relation of the specific installation:
IP41 Housing
IP66 Housing
The IP66 Housing is also available, with different order code, with the remote sensor.
NOTE:
The GDS and GDI standard sensors without on board Modbus communication have
different boards, please see the dedicated manual for these devices.
