3. The appropriate cable for use with the AMS 2140 has a BNC connector on
one end and an eight pin Turck connector on the other end. Connect the
Turck connector to the
VOLTS/TACH
connector on the AMS 2140
Machinery Health Analyzer.

4. Connect the BNC connector on the other end of the cable to the
OUTPUT
connector on the 408 battery pack. Turn the BNC connector clockwise
until you feel it click into place. At that point the cable is connected.
5. Turn the power switch on the 408 battery pack to the
ON
position by
pushing the power switch to the left.
6. The infrared light on the 404B Infrared Phototach is illuminated.
