The fs Commands
[-Force]
Required when performing a differential copy, if the original
copy was performed using a physical transport method.
The -Force option is for an ATA solution that allows users to
physically move the raw volumes to a different location, then
perform a differential copy. The raw volume will not have a valid
timestamp, so using the -Force option forces the system to ignore
the timestamp when checking the differential copy.
CAUTION
!
A normal differential copy ensures that the destination file
system is a backup of the source file system and that the
timestamp of the destination matches the timestamp of the
base checkpoint on the source side. The -Force flag causes the
system to ignore these important safety checks and allows the
differential copy to occur. The -Force flag should only be used
when explicitly directed in the Using Celerra Replicator, or on
the instruction of EMC Customer Support. The -Force flag is
mainly used within the procedure to transport an initial copy of
a file system via tape or disk for Celerra Replicator.
[-option <options>]
Specifies the following comma-separated option(s):
convert=
[yes | no]
Allows the conversion of the <dstfs> to uxfs after the file system
copy is executed. If no is specified, when the copy has completed,
the <dstfs> remains a rawfs file system type. The default is yes.
monitor=off
The progress of the copy is printed to the screen by default. The
off
option forces the command to run as a background process.
qos=
<bandwidth_number>
Sets the maximum transfer bandwidth in kilobits per second. This
limits network bandwidth to protect production network traffic.
-abort
{<fs_name> | id=<session_id>}
Stops the copy session. View the status of the copy session using -list
or -info.
-info
{<fs_name> | id=<session_id>}
Displays information for a specific file system copy session.
