4.2 Charging the mini submarine battery
(battery)
The quick-charger supplied consists of a mains,
wall plug, power pack, the charging circuit board
and a 2-pole mini plug. First plug the power pack
into a mains socket (for correct rating see
information on the quick-charger). The 2-pole mini
plug must be connected to the 2-pole pin on the
‘left’ of the submarine (viewed from the front). The
polarity doesn’t matter. See Figure 2. The red light
emitting diode (LED) on the charging circuit board
will begin to blink shortly before it lights up
continuously. The charging circuit detects the
connection of the battery and starts a time-
controlled charge for approx. 1 hour. The green
LED indicates when the battery is fully charged.
Attention:
To avoid damage to the battery from overcharging,
you must only charge, discharged batteries.
