4.0 INSTALLATION
The unit must be installed in a DVR-MV/RK rack
WARNING
The presence of the SD104 is compatible
with other plug-ins of the 100 family
1) Fasten the DRB104 rear part to the rear of the rack and connect the input and
output signals.
WARNING
If the DOP107 option board is fitted,
the Pal output will be present on the MON BNC connector
2) If it has been purchased separately, insert the
DOP107
option on the
SD104
plug-in.
Make sure that the notch on the DOP107 fits into the specific
hole
provided on the SD104 plug-in. Fasten with the 3X6 screw provided.
3) From the front panel of the rack, insert the SD104 plug-in so that the
connector
fitted is inserted in the edge connector present on the rear part of the DRB104.
WARNING
Remember that SD104 can manage signals with a rate of
between 143Mb/s and 360Mb/s. Phase looking of the internal PLL
is automatic and without external presettings
The SD104 is fitted with a circuit that automatically compensates losses of the
cable that carries the signal to its input. The six outputs are reclocked.
WARNING
Compensation of a section of 220 m
is assured using RG59DS cable
4) Power on The DVR-MV/RK.
Automatically either the plug-in SD104 is supplied.
Check that the led ON is switched on
