Installation hints
Connector
1. Ensure antenna is placed at top of mast for best omni directional performance.
2. Test for best setup location before final installation. (A few meters can make a large difference to signal quality.)
3. Tilting the antenna slightly from vertical can make a large difference to signal quality.
4. Keep antenna as far away as possible from TV antennas to minimise possible interference to the TV installation.
5. Keep antenna connection cable as short as possible.
6. Use drip loop on the antenna cable before it enters the house to avoid water running along cable into house.
7. Conform to applicable earthing/grounding regulations.
8. Use waterproof N-type connectors on antenna cable with amalgamating tape for best weather proofing.
For dongles and STBs with either TS9 or CRC9 connectors, an antenna cable (AABOC7M) together
with the correct “pigtail” adaptor cable (AABOATS9 or AABOACRC9) must be used.
