3.5 ALARMS COUNT PROGRAMMING (E)
This function allows abilitare a max number of 5 alarms within 24h, or allows
excluding the count, namely upon every block absence, an alarm will be
generated.
An alarm is taken into account only if its length is more than 24 seconds.
The count is reset upon every system deactivation or every 24h.
NOTE:
Function not allowed by the standards EN50131; if the option of alarms count is chosen, the S
connection is
mandatory
.
3.6 SCAFFOLDS FUNCTION PROGRAMMING (F)
This function activates the flash blinking (a double blink every 2.5 s) with active
system (namely when the signal is not present on terminal S).
NOTE:
Function not allowed by the standards EN50131;
if the scaffolds function
is
enabled, the “S” signal
is mandatory
.
WARNING
: under low battery conditions, the flash blinking is deactivated if the
siren is not powered, in order to save the remaining charge.
3.7 SOUND MODE PROGRAMMING (G,H,I)
The siren is able to generate 8 different sound modes, programmable through
jumpers G, H, I.
It is possible to chose the type of sound by starting a listening “
DEMO
” phase (
at
reduced power
) of all 8 modes. In order to start the demonstration, connect the
battery (with AL and S not connected) and short-circuit for an instant the
“DEMO”
jumper: the listening sequence will be obtained for the 8 modes (4 seconds for each
mode, 1.5 second interval between a mode and another). Sequentially count the type
of generated sound, refer to the table to the right for configuring the siren.
Example
: if, when listening to the mode DEMO, the sixth, one has been chosen,
refer to the table in position 6 to know which jumpers must be cut to obtain such
type of sound.
NOTE: only mode no. 1 is certified according to the standards EN50131-4
3.8 PROTECTION MODULE ALARM CARRYOVER
PROGRAMMING (L)
This feature allows you to manage a possible tampering alarm generated by the
optional protection module directly on the TA terminals of the siren.
In this way, it is not necessary to carry out external connections in series
between the two contacts. By default, this feature is disabled so as to allow the
separate management of the two signals.
3.9 SYSTEM STATE LED PROGRAMMING (M)
This feature allows system state displaying to be disabled via the special red
LED. If this condition is enabled and the S signal is used, when the system is
active a double blanking of the red LED is displayed every 2.5 seconds.
NOTE:
Function not allowed by the standards EN50131.
3.10 FAULT LED PROGRAMMING (N)
This feature enables any faults to be displayed via the special yellow LED. If the
fault condition is enabled, this is displayed by the yellow LED flashing every 2.5
seconds only when the system is deactivated.
NOTE:
Function not allowed by the standards EN50131.
