USING YOUR APPLIANCE
Before connecting the power supply:
1. Dry the inner and outer surface of the
appliance with dry cloth before use,
especially the plug and the pedestal to
avoid electricity shock.
2. Insert the temperature regulator to the
wok body; make sure it is fully connected
otherwise the temperature rise will be
affected, and the temperature regulator
will be damaged because of overheating.
3. Turn the regulator knob counter-clockwise
to the off position before connecting the
power.
4. Connect the power supply, turn the
regulator knob clockwise, and the
indicator lamp will illuminate.
5. You can adjust the temperature according
to your needs during cooking.
6. Turn the regulator knob clockwise to turn
the heat from OFF to maximum.
7. Turn the regulator knob counter-
clockwise, and heat will go from Maximum
to the OFF.
CAUTION:
Do not cover the wok with the lid
when heating up the cooking oil.
Tips:
• Always make sure all of your ingredients are
prepped and chopped prior to turning the
Wok on. Stir frying is a quick process so it’s
important to have everything ready to throw
into the Wok.
• Make sure all of your ingredients are
chopped/sliced/diced to similar sizes. This
helps everything cook at the same rate.
• Make sure the Wok is pre-heated and hot
before you toss any food into it.
• Choose a cooking oil that can handle the
high temperature of the wok. Groundnut
oil or vegetable oil can reach much higher
temperatures.
• Traditionally peanut oil is used for stir fry
dishes.
• Make sure you do not over fill the wok.
When stir frying, try just making two portions
at a time so nothing is overcooked and
everything has that great stir fried taste.
• Serve stir fried foods immediately to retain
their crisp texture and taste.
• When making fried rice, try using ‘overnight’
rice. Cook your rice the night before. Spread
the rice out on a tray and leave overnight.
If you don’t have time to cook and then
leave the rice overnight, you can put it in
the freezer for half an hour before using it to
make fried rice.
• Add oil gradually, rather than pouring it all in
at once.
