OPERATION / FUNCTION DISPLAY
5.1 Operation of the water detector SHT 5001
LED

: The SHT 5001 water detector is connected to the mains supply and
mains voltage.
LED
SENSORS
lights up: As soon as the sensor recognizes a rising water level, its LED will
blink
red
. The alarm is set off and the potential-free relay 1 and 2 switches.
The acoustic alarm (Relay 2) is deactivated by pressing the button
<RESET>
once.
Alarm message with storage function: The alarm stays and the relay 1 is switched on,

until the message is removed by pushing the
<RESET>
button.
Alarm message without storage function: The alarm remains and the relay 1 is switched

on, until the sensor no longer reports water.

5.2.1 Function test SHT 5001
By pushing the
<TEST>
button, the alarm LEDs of the sensor m ust blink
red
, and the relay
must switch. The pushing of the
<RESET>
button ends the function test.
5.2.2 Funktionstest SHT 5006
Touch both sensor contacts with a waterlogged cloth or an electric conductive metal and the
alarm is set off immediately.
