
Adjusting the cables: In the driving and plowing
setting it should be possible to push the clutch
cables up to the push bar without this requiring
much effort. If the cables are too taut for this,
they must be extended. To do this, undo the
knurled nut opposite the main cable, extend the
screw connector and then tighten the knurled
nut again. If the power of the drive unit falls or
the plow unit no longer rotates, the cable length
must be reduced using the screw connection
(using the same procedure described above).

You must fill up with engine
oil and fuel before you can start the
engine.
• Check the fuel and engine oil levels and top
up if necessary
• Make sure that the spark
plug boot is secured
to the spark plug
• Check the area immediately around the snow
thrower

Check that sliding shoes
(Fig.13) are correctly adjusted. Sliding
shoes should be adjusted so that the auger unit
is just above ground level.
Move the On-Off switch to the ON position.

To start a cold engine, move the choke lever to
the CLOSE position.
To restart a warm engine, leave the choke lever
in the OPEN position.
If the choke lever has been moved to the
CLOSE position to start the engine, gradually
move it
to the OPEN position as the engine warms up.

The Primer supplies more fuel to the carburetor
when starting the engine in low temperatures.
When using the primer it should not be pushed
more than three times.

Move the throttle lever away from the LOW
position, about 1/3 of the way toward the HIGH
position.

Plug the plug cap in electrical source carefully
and then press the starter button (Fig. 17).
After the engine is started remove the plug from
the electric source.
