INSTALLATION
This aerial is intended for use with analogue and digital television
receivers in Band IV and Band V (470 MHz to 860 MHz). It is a
wideband aerial, so can be used whenever Group A, Group B, Group
CD, or Group W aerials are specified. It can be used where the
signal strength is medium or strong.
It is also suitable for use with FM radio (Band II, 87 MHz to 108
MHz) or DAB radio (Band III, 174 MHz to 230 MHz).
The telescopic antennae receive DAB and FM radio signals, the loop
antenna receives digital and analogue terrestrial television signals.
Arrange the loop aerial so that it aligns with the nearest transmitter
as in the diagram below. You can find the location of your nearest
transmitter at http://www.ukfree.tv/transmitter.php
If there is an obstruction in the direction of the transmitter, then
pointing the aerial slightly to one side of the obstruction may result
in improved reception.
OPERATION
Plug the power supply into a 13 Amp mains socket. If connecting via
an extension lead, make sure that the lead is rated at 3 Amps or
more, and that it is fully unwound. Plug the lead from the power
supply into the aerial unit.
Switch on at the mains socket.
Connect the aerial to the television or radio by plugging the lead
provided into the "aerial" socket.
