When measuring three-phase three-wire and three-phase four-wire, the
inductive capacitive load and polarity can be judged according to various phase
relationships. If the U1I1 phase is displayed in the range of 00 to 900, the measured
load is inductive, and if it is displayed in the range of 2700 to 3600. The measured
load is capacitive; if the display phase is close to 1200, the polarity is the same; if
the display phase is close to 1200 and 3000, the polarity is reversed (current clamp
or line wiring may be reversed).
Three-phase three-wire test: the tested voltage lines UA yellow, UB green, and
UC red will be connected to the U1 red, COM black, and U2 red jacks of the
instrument. The current clamps I1 and I2 will clamp the measured circuit IA and IC
accordingly, three-phase three-wire voltage, current, phase, frequency, power,
power factor, etc. can be tested. See wiring figure below.
