CONNECTIONS
1.
Connect the Power cord (27) to AC outlet only.
2.
Connect the speaker wire to the speaker terminal located on the rear side of the unit.
3.
Turn on the power and select “CD“ function (6). If the LCD display is on with backlighting, it means
the power supply is normal. Now your system is ready to play the music.
LISTENING TO RADIO
OPERATION
1.
Set the Function selector (6) to “Tuner” position.
2.
Select the FM mode from FM /FM-ST selector (7).
3.
Turn the Tuning knob (17) to set the station frequency as desired.
4.
Adjust Volume control (18/19) for the desired volume level.
HINTS FOR BEST RECEPTION:
-
FM : the receiver has a built-in FM wire antenna hanging at the rear cabinet. This wire should be totally
unraveled and extended for best reception.
FM & FM-STEREO RECEPTION
Set the FM mode selector at “FM” position. Programs are received in mono mode. In particular when
stereo signals are weak. It is preferable to receive the program in mono.
Set the FM mode selector at “FM-ST” position for receiving stereo programs. The “Stereo“ indicator
will light up on LCD display to show FM stereo program is being received.
PLAYING COMPACT DISC
GETTING START
1.
Set the Function selector (6) to “CD” position, open the CD compartment by pressing the CD door
open button. Put a CD disc into the compartment and close the CD door.
2.
Focus search is performance if disc is inside. Total number of tracks is read.
REMARK:
The system can show the total number of tracks (for both CD and MP3 disc) only but do not show the
number of folder for MP3 disc on display
PLAY / PAUSE MODE
1.
If Play/Pause button is pressed during stop mode, the first track will be played and the play
indicator will appear at the LCD display.
2.
If play/pause button is pressed during play mode, go to pause mode and the Play/Pause
icon will flash at the LCD display.
STOP MODE
1.
If stop button is pressed during play or pause mode. Go to stop mode and display total
number of track all indicator led are turned off.
SKIP MODE (SKIP UP
/SKIP DOWN
)
1.
During play or pause mode, if Skip up button (4) is pressed it will go to next track and
display the track no. and then continuous the play or pause mode.
2.
During play or pause mode, if back button is pressed (4) it will go back to the beginning of
the track, same track no. is displayed and continuous the play or pause mode.
3.
After step 2, press back button again it will go to the previous track and continuous the play
or pause mode.
REMARK:
The unit will always go to track 01 (CD disc) or 001 (MP3 disc) when press the skip up or skip down button
during CD stop mode. If press again the Skip up/down button, then unit will go to the next track up or down
accordingly.
