A photo-eye and reflective plate are provided with the sign. The reflective plate needs to be
installed in the direction the photo-eye is being pointed at. The photo-eye operates by sending
an infrared beam in the direction that it is being pointed. The plate will reflect the IR beam
back to the photo-eye thus incrementing the bottom line of the display. Each time the beam is
broken, the bottom line will increment by one.
Terminal Block
A ‘Clear’ terminal block has been added to the EDV225MPC-2L-N1-GR-
IR. A contact closure between the two terminals will reset the second
(Actual) line of the display. Reset occurs after contact between the two
terminals is released.
