at both the cleaner and at the mains and remove
the plug.
Allow the cleaner to cool for 20 – 30 minutes, in
this time check the hose, tubes and floor nozzle for
blockages.
( a ) To check for a hose blockage pass a small
coin through it, on finding the blockage, remove
it by pressing the hose to dislodge and loosen the
obstruction. How ever be careful in the case it has
been caused by glass or needles caught inside the
hose at the point of the blockage.
( b ) By passing a hard flexible tube through the
hose from the handle end the obstruction can also
be dislodged and removed.
If the obstruction cannot be removed please

CLEANING THE HOSE AND NOZZLE
The vacuum cleaner stops automatically if the
nozzle tube or hose becomes blocked, or the filter
and dust bag are blocked. Disconnect from the
mains and allow to cool down for approximately 20
– 30 minutes.
Clear what ever is causing the blockage and /
replace dirty filters or the full dust bag. Then start
the vacuum cleaner.
Tubes and hose
1. Use a flexible hose or similar item to clear the
tubes and hose.
2. It is sometimes possible to clear the hose by
“massaging” it. However, be careful in case the
obstruction has been caused by glass or
needles caught inside the hose.
Note: The warranty does not cover any damage to
hoses caused by cleaning them.
Cleaning the floor nozzle
3. To avoid reduction in suction power, frequently
clean the dual purpose floor nozzle. The easiest
way to clean it is by using the hose bent end.
