Using the rings

Warning!

Make quite sure the burner

crown and burner cap are positioned
correctly over the burner top.

For correct combustion the burner crowns
and burner caps must be positioned correct-
ly over the burner body. If the burner crown
and caps are off-centre, the gas flame will
burn incorrectly and the burner caps may be
ruined in a short space of time.

Control knobs on the gas hob

The knobs for using the gas hob of the cook-
er are found on the control panel. The regu-
lation knobs could be turned in anti clockwise
direction until the small flame symbol.

Ignition of hob burners

1. Push the control knob in completely and

turn in an anticlockwise direction to the
maximum position marked by

.

2. Keep the knob pushed for about 10 sec-

onds. This will allow the thermocouple to
be heated and the safety device to be
switched off, otherwise the gas supply
would be interrupted.

3. Upon ignition regulate the flame as re-

quired.

If after a few attempts the burner does not
ignite, check that the burner cap and crown
are correctly positioned (picture below, point
1 and 2).
