Detergent dispenser

1. Washing powder or liquid
detergent for  programmes with
pre-wash (

2. Washing powder or liquid
detergent for the main wash (

Before using your washing machine for the first time, we
recommend you to run a 90° C cotton cycle without any
laundry to remove any manufacture residue from the
drum and tub :

• 

Pour a 1/2 measure of detergent into the "detergent

dispenser".

• 

Select the programme "B".

• 

Press the ON/OFF button " ": the wash cycle starts.

At the end of the programme, the appliance stops
automatically on a stop position 

"I"

 or on a rinse hold

position (if the rinse hold button " " has been selected).

Never turn the programme selector anticlockwise.

7. Temperature selector

It enables to choose the most adapted temperature
between cold ( ) and 90°C. Choose the temperature
which corresponds to the chosen programme, with the
help of the indications or the programme table, according
to the fibers and the fastness of the colours.

USE OF YOUR APPLIANCE

The control panel

1. ON/OFF pushbutton "

"

Press the ON/OFF pushbutton " ", the programme
starts: the control lamp illuminates.

2. Control lamp

The control lamp illuminates when the appliance is
working (ON/OFF pushbutton " " pressed on).
It extinguishes when the ON/OFF pushbutton " " is
pressed off.

3. Half load pushbutton "

"

This pushbutton allows to wash small quantity of linen
not much soiled (2,5 kg) only on the cotton programmes
by cancelling one rinse.

4. Rinse hold button "

"

Press this button to leave the water in the drum after the
wash cycle is completed. This option is suitable for all
the washing programmes. The clothes are left suspended
in water after the final rinse to prevent the formation of
creases.

5. Spinning speed variator

It enables to select the spinning speed of your washing
machine from " " (draining) to 800 rpm (EWT 868) or
from " " to 700 rpm (EWT 718) for cotton programmes
and from " " to 600  rpm for synthetic, delicates and wool
programmes.

6. Programme selector

It enables to select the most adapted programme to the
nature and degrees of soil of your laundry.
Turn the programme selector clockwise to select the
chosen programme.
The programme selector indicates each programme
phase as it takes place.

Never turn the programme selector when the appliance is working.
