This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such
as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
– farm houses;
– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

WARNING: Risks of injuries if you don't use this appliance correctly.
•
Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl
and during cleaning.
•
Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and
before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
•
This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out
of reach of children.
•
Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if
they understand the hazards involved.

Children shall not play with the appliance.
•
Do not use the appliance if the rotating sieve is damaged.
•
Regarding the instructions for cleaning surfaces in contact with food, refer to the
section “Cleaning and Maintenance” on page 5 of the manual.

Regarding the operating times and speed setting, refer to the section
“Operation” on page 4 of the manual.
•
Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories
or approaching parts that move in use.
OPERATION AS JUICE EXTRACTOR
Preparing fruits and vegetables for juicing
• Wash fruits and vegetables.
• Peel fruits that have inedible skins such as citrus fruits, pineapple, melons, etc.
• Pit all fruits with hard seeds or stones such as peaches, cherries, etc.
• Most fruits and vegetables such as apples, carrots and cucumbers will not need to be cut. If the pieces are too big for the feed tube slice
the fruit or vegetables before starting to juice.
1. Plug the appliance into the mains socket.
2. Switch on the appliance by setting the power switch to speed setting I (low speed)
or II (high speed).
• Speed I is particularly suitable for soft fruit and vegetables such as watermelon,
grapes, tomatoes and cucumbers.
• Speed II is suitable for all types of fruit and vegetables.
3. Lift the food pusher out of the feed tube and drop food into the feed tube. Push through using the small and large pushers and
pressing firmly.
• NOTE
: To extract the maximum amount of juice, please push the food pusher down
SLOWLY
.
• Do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 1 minute. Allow it to cool
down before next use. When processing hard food, do not operate the
appliance continuously for more than 30 seconds.
4. The juice will flow into the juice jug and the pulp will accumulate in the container.
• If the container is full, empty it before continue juicing. Switch off and unplug the appliance from the mains socket. Remove and
empty the container. Replace the container. Plug the appliance into the mains socket and switch on the appliance. Set the power
switch to the desired speed.
5. When the juicing is finished, switch off the appliance.
OPERATION AS CITRUS JUICER
Always use fresh, firm citrus fruit when juicing.
1. Cut a citrus fruit to be squeezed in half.
2. Place centre of citrus fruit over the small cone or large cone.
NOTE:
When the large cone is used it shall fit over the small cone.
3. Plug the appliance into the mains socket.
4. Switch on the appliance by setting the power switch to speed setting I (low speed)
or II (high speed).
5. Press fruit against the cone by using firm steady pressure to activate juicing.
• For small citrus fruits, it is suggested to place the palm of your hand over the fruit.
• Do not apply too much pressure to the cone while juicing, as this may cause damage to the motor.
