Directions for use
The appliance is suitable for frothing
small quantities of liquid. The capacity
of the appliance is not sufficient for
use with thick foods or larger quanti-
ties.
Frothing milk (fig. 3)
3
Any milk can be used in principle, but
its freshness and degree of pasteuriza-
tion have an influence on the result.
Milk with a low proportion of fat can
normally be frothed better.
0
Fill a suitable vessel no more than half
full with warm milk (around 50-60 °C,
never boiling).
3
A vessel with a high edge, e.g. drinking
glass, is most suitable.
0
Immerse the spiral whisk in the milk
and switch on with the start button
(fig. 1/A). Move the milk frother up and
down slightly.
3
To avoid splashing, only switch on the
motor when the spiral whisk is in the
milk.
0
The spiral whisk should always operate
just below the surface. Therefore move
the milk frother up with the rising
froth.
3
Sufficient froth is produced in 15 to 20
seconds to make one or two cups of
cappuccino.
Allow the milk to rest for 1 to 2 min-
utes after frothing, so that the froth
can reach its optimum thickness.
After skimming off the froth, the
remaining milk can be frothed again.
Cleaning and care
The appliance should be cleaned as
soon as possible each time after use.
0
Rinse the spiral whisk under running
water. Ensure that the case does not
get wet.
0
Wipe the case over with a slightly
moist cloth. Do not use any sharp or
abrasive cleaning agents.
1
Never immerse the appliance in water!
Storage
Keep the milk frother in the holder if
possible (fig. 1/D).
1
If laid down, ensure that the spiral
whisk cannot bend.
The holder can also be used as a wall
holder. For this purpose remove the
holder from the table stand and fix to
the wall with the dowels and screws
supplied (fig. 4).
