Childproof Lock
Activation of childproof lock
The childproof lock prevents an unintentional switching on of cooking zones.
The childproof lock can only be activated when no cooking zone is in operation.
1. Touch the sensor control “on/off”.
2. Touch the sensor controls plus and minus simultaneously for approximately one second and
release them.
3. Touch again the sensor control plus. In the digital display n is indicated for approximately ten
seconds. Now the childproof lock is active.
Using the cooking surface with activated childproof lock
1. Touch the sensor control “on/off”. The digital displays indicate .
2. Within ten seconds touch the sensor controls plus and minus simultaneously for
approximately one second. The digital display indicates and the digital point flashes.
3. Select the cooking zone and set the desired cooking level.
The childproof lock is deactivated until the appliance will be switched off the next time. All cooking
zones and cooking levels can be used in the usual way.
Deactivation of childproof lock
The childproof lock can only be deactivated when no cooking zone is in operation.
1. Touch the sensor control “on/off”. The digital displays indicate .
2. Touch the sensor controls plus and minus simultaneously for approximately one second and
release them.
3. Touch again the sensor control minus. The symbol goes out and will be indicated. Now
the childproof lock is deactivated.
