3.5 Normal operation
The device is ready for use as soon as the batteries are inserted. When the sensor detects
movement of the turbine wheel, the flow measurement starts automatically. The resettable subset
is shown in the upper area of the display according to the presetted unit. The flow rate in l/min is
shown in the lower area, indicated with the text „FLOW RATE“.
3.6 Setting the units
The volume counter can be set to liter (L), gallon (GAL), quart (QTS) or pint (PTS). To change the
units, simultaneously press and hold the „RES“ and „OPT“ buttons. The display shows the pulse
value in the upper line and the non-resettable total volume counter in the lower line. After pressing
the button for two seconds, the currently set unit starts to flash. Release the buttons. You can
then switch between the units by pressing the „RES“ button. Press the „OPT“ button to save the
desired setting.
3.7 Partial, intermediate and total volume counters
The flow rate is recorded for three different display modes. The previously counted partial volume
is shown in the resettable partial volume counter in the upper line and stored in the resettable
intermediate counter and the non-resettable total volume counter.
By briefly pressing the „OPT“ button, you can switch the display between FLOW RATE and RESET
TOTAL (intermediate counter) in the lower line.
To display the total non-resettable volume, press the „RES“ and „OPT“ buttons at the same time,
however, for less than 2 seconds to avoid entering the setting mode as described under 3.6.
