up.

7.

8.
With the c and the channel – (3) button you can browse the found channels
9.
To delete channels, press the “CH DEL“ button (10)
10.
You might be able to improve the quality of a ‘weak’ channel by pressing the FINE TUNE + or -buttons to manually adjust
the setting. Step through to the channel using the C or - keys and press Fine Tune + or-until you get the best
picture. If you want to save this setting for future use just press COPY then PASTE . The ‘old’ setting will be replacd in the
list by the new one .
Rearranging the Channel List
CHAN+ and CHAN- can be used to move through the Channel List. This can also be done by keying the Channel directly using the
0-9 Keys on the handset .
Whenever a channel is found who’s quality is poor or is not a real video channel and needs to be removed from the list, the CHAN
DEL (PLAY) key can be used to do this. After pressing CHAN DEL the screen displays the channel number and ‘DELETED’ is
superimposed on the picture. The old channel is then erased from the list and the list rearranged to fill the gap. Initially the tuner still
shows the old channel, but after 4 seconds it re-tunes to the next channel up and this becomes the new Current Channel.
It’s not necessary to wait the 4 seconds before pressing another key however. The unit will respond instantly to any subsequent key
press, so if you use CHAN DEL and then follow it immediately with CHAN + you need to be aware that although the screen still
shows the channel you have just deleted, internally the unit has already replaced it with the next channel in the list , so an immediate
CHAN + will appear to move up two channels from the one you had just deleted after the 4 sec. has elapsed .
You can alter the order of channels in the Channel List using the COPY (TEXT OFF) and PASTE (TEXT ON) keys.
COPY copies the Current Channel to an internal Clipboard and marks the channel on the list for deletion once the contents of the
clipboard have been pasted into the selected position. Subsequent COPY operations just put the new channel onto the clipboard,
mark it for deletion after use and ‘un-mark’ the previous channel.
