DISPLAY ERROR MESSAGES
TARE (zero calibration)
Various ingredients can be measured and mixed in one cup. After placing and weighing one
product in the cup, you can add another product if the providing that the tare function has
been used. In order to do this:
- place the cup with the first product in it on the base (6)
- press the [ZERO] button. The display will zero the indicated value and “T” symbol will appear in
the lower part of the display.
Now you can add the next ingredient. Weight or volume of the last added ingredient can be
measured. Use the same procedure with other ingredients of a given recipe.
Quitting the Tare function
In order to end the tare function (when the displays shows “0” and “T” symbol), you can press
the [ZERO] button to restore the original value of weight or volume (value before using the tare
function). “T” symbol will disappear.
The tare function and quitting the tare function work properly only when the cup is placed on
a flat and stable surface.
In order to switch the device OFF, press the [ON/OFF] button for ca. 3 seconds. The scales switch
off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
- It is easy and convenient to mix different ingredients in the cup. However when mixing your
ingredients, you should avoid pressing down the bottom of the base where the sensitive
weight scale components are located. Excessive force applied to the base of the cup may
ermanently damage the scale inside and provide inaccurate reading.
- The transparent cup can withstand up to maximum 70
O
C of food or liquid
The “Lo” message means that it is necessary to replace the battery.
REPLACING THE BATTERY:
1. Open the battery cover located on the bottom of the handle.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Insert a new battery (pay attention to the polarity)
4. Close the cover.
Dispose of the old batteries by putting them into special containers for batteries.

Before pouring the products out from the cup,
you should remove it from the base (6).
If the cup must stay on the base, hold its edge
with your thumb so it does not fall out (see
picture on the right).
Error (Err)
The scale is overloaded. The weight or volume in the cup exceeds
the maximum display range.
- Only clean the inside of the transparent cup with cold or warm water together with
optional mild cleaning detergent. Do not use hot water to clean the transparent cup as
it can withstand up to 70oC maximum.
- Use damp cloth to clean the outside of the transparent cup, handle and the base.
- Never immerse the cup in water or put into dish washing machine for cleaning
- To extend product life span, remove any food or liquid from the cup when it is not in use
so that it is not loaded with weight
- After cleaning, place the cup in a location with good air ventilation
