4.11 Cash register connectors
Note: Interconnection and control of the connectors can be done only when the cash register is switched off.
4.11.1 Connectors on mainboard of electronics
The interconnecting conductors of the Euro-500T Handy cash register connectors are fastened in the PCB by a fixing mixture which
makes them more firm and secures that they don’t sag at an acute angle and don’t break.
When repairing or replacing connectors, it is recommended that the contacts be poured over with the fixing mixture in a
specialized service.
4.11.2 Connectors for connecting external appliances
1. Switch the cash register off and disconnect the external adapter.
2. Separate the middle and front cover from the undercover.
3. Remove the cash register back cover as well as the motor with the motor holder.
4. Connect/check the interconnection of the connectors with the mainboard and the entirety of the cables. Make sure
that the connectors are well pushed-in.
5. If any connector is damaged, replace the whole board of connectors of the external appliances.
6. Carry out the cash register tests (chapter 5).
7. Reinstall the cash register covers (chapter 4.1).
